Board Vacancies
Maryland relies greatly on the volunteer assistance of citizens from all walks of life to make a contribution through public service. Some Board seats require an area of expertise, while others require the perspective of the general public.Each seat listing includes a link to the legislation that regulates the board so that applicants may ensure that they meet the requirements for the seat.
Please note that some boards are appointed by the Governor and others are appointed by the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Health. Some seats may also require approval of the Maryland Senate. Based on the appointing authority (Governor or Secretary), please submit a formal application using the appropriate link provided.

Candidates may apply for any board at any time; however, priority attention is given to vacant seat and seats with terms that are soon to expire.
